The Tiller Club

The Tiller Club is CBI's adult racing association. Our primary event is Sunday Morning racing. We gather nearly every Sunday throught the season for good competition and serious fun. The only qualification for membership is to have CBI's "Racing Skipper" rating. which you can obtain by passing a written exam on the rules. The exam is a closed-book test that you complete on the honor system and may take home.

There are no membership fees, but we do collect daily racing fees on Sundays to cover costs.

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to CBI and to the sport of racing. We take turns running races. At our annual meeting, we elect an Executive Committee that democratically decides what racing events will be held and how they will be run. Everything happens because a volunteer has stepped forward, although there would be no racing without the support we receive from CBI staff.
