Adult Classes

Community Boating offers sailing, windsurfing, and kayaking to adults 18 years and older.

The Adult Program runs from April 1 to October 31, Monday-Friday 1 PM to sunset and weekends 9 AM to sunset. Membership includes instruction (formal classes and in-formal on-the-water instruction), unlimited use of all boats and discounts to events and CBI gear.

In addition to boating, members enjoy a wide range of activities including seminars, fundraising events, Friday Night BBQs, Helmsman parties, and other social events throughout the season. Please click here (link to Other programs) to learn about other programs offered by CBI.

To sign up for the Adult Program, please complete an application form, available on-line in our membership page or in the front office. Classes are offered throughout the season. Please click here for class schedules. You do not need to sign up in advance for Orientation, Rigging, or Shore I. For all other classes, there are limits to the class size and you must register in advance at the front office. Class sign-up is permitted 1 week in advance.
