Charles River Blue Green Algae
Due to the CRWA announcement concerning blue green algae bloom in the Charles River Basin, all high performance classes including; Laser, 420, kayak, and windsurf will be cancelled until further notice. Additionally, windsurfing sign outs will be stopped for the time being. All other Adult Program high performance sign outs will be allowed with the members signature of a release waiver. CBI to host State Special Olympics Regatta
Community Boating is honored to host the state sailing regatta for Special Olympics Massachusetts on Saturday, July 31st. The event will be held on CBI’s fleet of Rhodes 19’s with approximately 40-50 competitors participating. This event marks an important partnership for CBI’s Universal Access Program as well as the organization as a whole.

Volunteer Instructor Seminars
Become a member of the CBI Volunteer Instructor Faculty! Learn the tips and tricks for teaching the regularly scheduled Adult Program Learn to Sail classes or just how to give better on-the-water instruction in a Mercury. This series of informal semniars is modelled on the US Sailing Level I curriculum and helps continue our member-teach-member history.
