Information for New Members
Whether you want to learn the basics, become a racer, or relax on a sail up and down the Charles River, the Universal Access Program is committed to meeting you where you are and guiding you along the way.
All new UAP members should sign up below for a 75-minute Orientation & First Sail. A confirmation email will include required membership paperwork which should be completed prior to arriving to CBI. Orientation sessions includes an overview of our program and a guided sail in a Sonar sailboat. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete the sign-up process.
Information for Groups
UAP has numerous valuable partnerships with various hospitals, schools, day programs, and care facilities. We offer groups the opportunity to sign up for UAP together and attend our sailing classes and recreational boat rides. Our programming can be customized to fit your group. After completing the sign-up process, an instructor will orient you to the facility, explain the different types of boats and adaptive equipment, and help you set sailing goals. Whether you have never been in a boat before or have a robust sailing background, the UAP program has something for you.
