Nchinda Nchinda has been selected as CBI’s Volunteer of the Month for September!

Nchinda’s positivity and willingness to jump right in during his first year of volunteering has been outstanding. He inspires others by imparting his knowledge through classes, all while learning and improving his own skills. Thank you Nchinda!

“I never thought I’d be able to sail (or own a boat for that matter) for decades. On a whim I was chatting with an AI agent about boats and it mentioned there’s an affordable non-profit just down the red line. Seeing the CBI board members volunteering at work parties, motivated by the love of the game, made me want to join the volunteer team. To teach is to learn twice. I like to line up my Saturday with interspersed guided sails and shore school classes from 10am to sunset. My favorite memories are the guided sails where I can see the capsize coming and balance out the boat. Knock on wood, so far none of my guided sails have become guided swims.”
