Phil Lorenzo has been selected as CBI’s Volunteer of the Month for May!
Phil is a longtime member and volunteer, who never fails to make people smile. His guided sails help students gain confidence, build new skills, and most of all, have fun. His support has a positive impact on staff, members, and the whole community. Thank you Phil!
“I have been a volunteer at community boating for over 10 years now. I love teaching newbies how to sail, making new friends, and helping to build the sailing community. I particularly enjoy sharing a person‘s first experience on the water, and especially that moment when the lightbulb goes off in their heads and they “get it”. I shall look forward to teaching in the years to come.”
