Community Boating Welcomes Worden Marine as Major Sail-a-thon Sponsor

BOSTON — June 16, 2026 — Community Boating, Inc. is excited to welcome Worden Marine as a major sponsor of CBI’s 80th Anniversary Sail-a-thon weekend, June 20–21.

As part of the partnership, Worden Marine’s TruSolar20 vessel, Anita, will serve as CBI’s Media and VIP Boat during the Sail-a-thon, helping bring media representatives, guests, and supporters closer to the action as sailors take part in CBI’s 24-hour sailboat regatta on the Charles River.

Worden Marine’s TruSolar20 vessel, Anita, brings a distinctive sponsor presence to CBI’s Sail-a-thon weekend. During the event, Anita will serve in a special event-support role, helping CBI welcome media, guests, and supporters as part of its 80th anniversary celebration.

The Sail-a-thon is a signature moment in CBI’s 80th Anniversary Weekend, which also includes the 80th Anniversary Dock Party and other opportunities for sailors, alumni, supporters, and friends to gather at the boathouse. Together, the weekend’s events support CBI’s 80th Anniversary Campaign, a philanthropic effort focused on its youth development programs, adaptive sailing, and long-term fleet readiness.

Through the campaign, CBI is inviting donors, sponsors, alumni, and community partners to invest in the next generation of CBI: widening the welcome, strengthening inclusive programs, and sustaining the mission that has made CBI a Boston institution for 80 years.
