All Boats on the Water and Summer Dock Party
Community Boating has provided ‘Sailing for All’ in the heart of Boston for over 75 years! We’ll be hosting our 3rd annual All Boats on the Water Race with the goal of getting over 75 boats on the water and wrap up the night with our Summer Dock Party fundraiser!
All Boats on the Water Race $10 entry fee per boat. Members and their guests only.
Registration starts 1:00pm || Skippers Meeting 2:30pm || Race Starts 3:30pm.
Click here for more information about the race. This race will feature members from our Adult, Junior, and Universal Access programs! Junior Program Race Team members are welcome to join the mercury or high-performance fleet (no sonars or ideals). Universal Access Program members, please email [email protected] if you are interested in racing.
The Dock Party will start at 6:30pm. OPEN TO ALL. Join us for an open bar (beer and hard seltzer), lawn+dock games, music, dancing, and more! Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by Polar Beverages. Fresh Food Generation food truck will be on site with food available for purchase.
This summer our Juniors have been hard at work building and experimenting with submersibles through a new class, Robosub. RoboSub at CBI connects teamwork, engineering, and technical skills into a unique challenge. During the dock party, members will have the opportunity to build and control remotely operated submersibles in an 8 foot pool to complete various tasks. Motor placement and buoyancy are essential factors to consider while perfecting the subs! Meet on the astroturf from 7pm-830pm. We’ll have prizes on hand for those who participate!
All proceeds go towards our Universal Access and Junior Programs. Our Universal Access Program allows those who need special assistance, whether it be physical or cognitive, to go out on the water. While our Junior Program allows children, ages 10-17, in the Greater Boston area to learn how to sail for as low as $1.
